Problem with amazon is they don't rehire someone that was fired for being late. I use to work Amazon until they switched my schedule to an hour earlier to start at 6am with thick frost on windows. Back then they had shuttle to the overflow parking lot & fullish me waited for the shuttle. Anyway one day I show late and the guard say I'm not on the list & the temp company that hired me is not in til atleast 9am so I ask the guard can we call my supervisor. Supervisor comes down and asks he can write my name on list & guard who obviously cares about security says I guess so. About a month later the temp agency rep, finds me at work & tells me I was fired a month ago for being late. I go in to the temp agency once a week for paycheck & no one say a word about it. Point is you could have worked another month. You were lucky, I had to run all over that damn place trying to find & pack books.
