The Problem with doing a reboot of so many characters is a lot of licenses to deal with. Often other companies license to Nintendo for extra money for game sales, but that doesn't mean they can use it for animation other then perhaps advertising current releases. Remember the original Captain N was to market the Current games & accessories. This also means your wasting time pitching to animation studio, when you should be pitching directly to Nintendo or the License owner as they have the advertising budget needed to pay for the animation & network to distribute. Also the power glove was a failed product & has been replaced with the more successful wii or something.
Overall the animation is choppy & unfinished. The plot is also hard to follow possibly due to using existing voice clips rather then record new voices that fit the story line. It starts with live scenes about Nintendo, then hops to animated Nintendo shrines of gameboys, then jumps into battle with characters from various worlds with know idea who's working together or fighting. There's no real plot other then then a chosen one comes from another world to save us in land full of existing heros by going on a quest to find ancient artifacts (Nintendo accessories that are no longer for sale).
